I know it’s no longer permissible for cigarette brands to
sponsor television shows, but it sure seems like Salem cigarettes could be
sponsoring the TV show Salem. At the
splash screen for the show, which we see many times throughout each program,
there is darkness with a green mist swirling around, and it looks rather like
cigarette smoke. And green is the color of the cigarette brand Salem, don’t you
know. All they’d have to do is add in the Salem brand logo, and say they’re
“magically delicious” or something, or that they ward off evil, and the only
reason people are trying to stamp out smoking is that they want us all to be
defenseless against the maleficence of witchery.
