We see Evel Kneivel do one of his famous death-defying
motorcycle jumps where he wrecks at the end, and then afterwards we see him
limp up to his Volvo and get in to drive home. Once in the car and driving, he
talks to the camera as though someone were riding in the car with him, saying: “Boy,
after another one of those dangerous stunts I’m always glad to get back into my
Volvo. It’s the safest car in the world, so I know I won’t get hurt in this
thing no matter what happens. Heck, I wish I could do my dangerous, death-defying
jumps in a Volvo. But I guess then it wouldn’t be dangerous and death-defying, would it?”
