Every time I hear
the term “think tank” I always think of that movie Donovan’s Brain,
where some guy’s brain is kept alive in a fish tank and it takes over people’s
minds and wreaks havoc. In fact, I don’t know how anyone could hear the
term “think tank” and not think of a brain in a fish tank. So why not
have one of the more fun think tanks use a picture of a big powerful brain,
like the alien brain from The Brain from Planet Arous, in a little fish
aquarium as their logo? At least then it would be honest about the fact that
their “think tank” is an evil plot to conquer the world. (<What else could
it be, with the whole group being controlled by an evil brain in a tank? After
all, why do you think they call it a “think tank” to begin with?)

Simply combine
these two image ideas into a snappy graphic logo for a think tank we can all
believe in! (Think of the spike of tin foil hat sales we’d see. Help, evil
brains rule the world!)
