Henery Hawk is that little baby chicken hawk from the Warner Brothers Foghorn Leghorn cartoons. In these cartoons, he’s always trying to get him a chicken, with varying degrees of success, generally with help from the dog, and usually winding up with Foghorn Leghorn as his prey in the end. But Foghorn Leghorn doesn’t seem very tender to me, so I think it would be fun to use Henery Hawk and his quest for a chicken in an ad for a chicken fast food restaurant, or for the chicken sandwich of a fast food restaurant.
So this spot would work like the Foghorn Leghorn cartoons, with Henery Hawk, the baby chicken hawk, trying to get a chicken. He doesn’t know where to get one, and he doesn’t even seem to know what a chicken looks like, but he’s a-gonna get himself one all the same. And so he mistakes the dog for a chicken, but the dog points him towards Foghorn Leghorn, who when captured tells him that he’s too old and tough to be good eating, and so then the chicken hawk goes back to the dog, who takes him to Chick-fil-A to get a chicken sandwich. And after taking one bite of the chicken sandwich, Henery Hawk says: “Mmm! I finally got my chicken! And it was worth all of the effort, too!”
Then, as a tag, we could pan the camera away from Henery Hawk eating the sandwich inside the restaurant to look out the window, where we see the weasel looking at Henery Hawk eating the sandwich, and the weasel drools and says: “Yeah, yeah, yeah!” (Slurp, slurp, slurp!)
