Audi Captain America Ad

This spot is kind of confusing to me. Audi is a German car company. And who was Captain America created to fight? Oh, right: the Germans.

So is Captain America a double agent? Was he always? He certainly is a traitor to American car companies now that he’s hawking German cars!

I heard the Red Skull drives an Audi. Obviously he’s not intimidated by technology! Hey, maybe that’s how they got Captain America to make Audi ads: they impugned his manhood by accusing him of not making Audi ads because he’s intimidated by technology, which is obviously the only reason he’s fighting Tony Stark in the movie: Captain America: Civil War. (<He’s intimidated by Tony Stark’s technology.)

So Captain America obviously got peer-pressured into making these Audi ads to prove he’s not intimidated by Audi’s technology. What would people think if they knew he was intimidated? Would he still be allowed to command the Avengers as a coward?

The Red Skull came up with that strategy to discredit Captain America for advertising for a German manufacturer; or so I hear. In fact, I think the Red Skull owns Audi as a front for Hydra’s secret tech development, and their slogan about technology not having to be intimidating is just to brainwash us into a false sense of security for when they unleash their intimidating technology: we’ll all think it isn’t necessarily intimidating, so we won’t run and hide, and it will destroy us all! (Help, help!) And it will be all Captain America’s fault for helping Audi sell cars in America to fund their secret Hydra weapons research!

Here’s the Captain’s car commercial:
