I keep hearing that if Donald Trump wins the election, many
people claim they will be moving to Canada. I have also heard of Republicans
saying the same if Hillary Clinton wins. So with this trend in mind, and seeing
as how it’s a lot colder in Canada than it is in America, doesn’t this provide
the ultimate opportunity to have a coat sale people will actually notice?
The ad for such a sale would be simple and fun, and I’ll bet
everyone would notice it. It could go something like this:
We see a picture of Donald Trump, and it says under the
photo: “President Donald Trump”. Then we see a map of America and Canada, and
we see arrows indicating a mass migration, sort of like a military history map
showing how forces from one side broke through the lines, etc.: you get the
picture. And as we see the mass migration map, a voiceover person says: “Moving
to Canada? It’s awfully cold up there! You’re going to need a new coat!” Then
we cut to a series of shots of different coats available, and the voiceover
person says: “Burlington Coat Factory has all the coats you need for wherever
you’re going, and for whatever reason.” Then we see a picture of Hillary Clinton,
and under the photo it says: “President Hillary Clinton”, and the voiceover
person says: “Oops! Looks like we’re going to need more coats!”
In fact, I think a great ad for any coat sale this fall will
be simply a picture of Donald Trump with: “President Donald Trump’s Move to
Canada Coat Sale!” written on it, and I’ll bet they’ll sell tons of coats! And
in red states, simply use a picture of Hillary Clinton with: “President Hillary
Clinton’s Move to Canada Coat Sale!” and they’ll likely sell a lot of coats
too.
