Planters WWII Battle of the Bulge “Nuts!” Reply Ad (Joke/Proposed)

In a joke of the famous reply of “Nuts!” by Gen. McAulliffe to the Germans at Bastogne, on Dec 22, 1944, during the Battle of the Bulge, we see the Germans show up to deliver the message requesting the Americans to surrender, and the message gets delivered to the Gen. McAulliffe, who, eating from a container of Planters nuts, says: “Nuts!” His men look confused, but duly write the response down. And then we see the message given back to the Germans, who say: “Nuts? Vhat is dis ‘Nuts’?” And then Planters’ Mr. Peanut, wearing a military uniform, walks into frame and says: “Who can think of anything else while enjoying delicious Planters nuts?”

(BTW: I hope this isn’t offensive to any US military personnel. It’s only meant in fun. And seeing as how it’s only five days away from the anniversary of this event, I thought it might be a fun ad or sketch.)

Anyone who wants to know the official story of the “Nuts!” reply during the Battle of the Bulge can read all about it here. It’s a fun read:
