We see ET saying he wants to phone home, and then a kid
gives him her Samsung Galaxy smartphone to use. Well, ET likes the phone so
much, now he wants to stay on Earth. And he won’t give the phone back, using
his glowing finger to repel the girl whose phone it is. (But then he plays E.T.
The Video Game, and he’s so insulted that he phones home, and his mother ship destroys
the Earth.)
