We see a small number of men sitting next to each other “manspreading”,
taking up a whole bench (or denying access to all the free seats, with most of
them otherwise available) on a crowded subway, and there’s a collection of
women in pumps and flats and heels all standing up and holding the bars and
straps in the subway car all around the men. But the women, some of them old ladies, all look
more comfortable than the men, with the men mostly grimacing, and the women
mostly smiling; and the slogan is: “Dr. Scholl’s: So comfortable, you’ll stand
for anything.”
(This would make an equally good TV or print ad campaign.)
