Met Gala Dress Kerfuffle

In silly news, Kim Kardashian is being accused of wearing the same dress to the Met Gala that Beyoncé wore during a previous year. Oh, perish the thought! No woman should ever be allowed to wear any dress that looks in any way similar to one worn by anyone else ever! (<Or else.) How ridiculous can you get, fascist fashion fans?

Can you imagine what it would be like if no man was ever allowed to wear a suit that looked similar to any other suit any other man ever wore to any public function? I shudder to think of all the “new looks” we’d be assaulted with.

In a society obsessed with searching for things to call discriminatory, it’s amazing this issue of women not being allowed to wear the same dress has not been called out for being sexist, because really, it is. Think of all the time and money women have to spend trying to be sure their dress is always unique; men never have to do this, because most suits look pretty much the same, especially tuxedos. Clearly this is just as unfair as women’s haircuts costing far more than men’s. Add makeup, and it really adds up!

But then again, if people weren’t allowed to rag on women’s dresses, think of all the jobs we’d lose in reporting.
