This is [kind of a cute ad, where we see a ship of Vikings,
and once of them is tasting a Chardonnay, and the announcer says some people “have
to” travel for work, but other people “get to” travel for work. But seeing as
how this is a Viking ship we’re talking about, shouldn’t we get to see them
arrive at a Courtyard Marriot, stay overnight, trash the place, and then go
pillage some nearby town? Then the slogan could be: “We help you rest up so you
can pillage!”
It might send the message to corporate raiders, and they might
become the #1 hotel chain for corporate raiders. (Hey: you never know. That
Oliver Stone movie Wall Street,
intended to indict a corrupt Wall Street, was taken literally and is loved by Wall Street
investment bankers to this day.)
