Some of you may have seen the silly ad from the NSA
encouraging us to recycle featuring their recycling mascot, “Dunk”: a sentient,
anthropomorphized recycling bin. He encourages people to recycle.
But what if this ad is not persuasive enough for some? Well,
given the NSA’s known abuses and overreach, I think they could use this to
their advantage by having Dunk say: “And if you don’t throw recyclables into a
recycling bin, I’ll throw you into a greens can, and you’ll be composted in a
chipper shredder. And I work for the NSA: I can get away with anything, so you’d
better do as I say!”
