We see three brief scenarios (which can be shown
individually for shorter time slots and for online ads) where gurgling gas
embarrasses someone: First a young woman is at a job interview when a loud
gurgle of gas from her insides shocks the interviewer, who then makes nervous
small talk to dance around the issue. Then we see a young man at the dinner
table at his girlfriend’s house to meet her parents for the first time, and
during a lull in the conversation, we hear a loud gurgle of gas coming from
him, and everyone turns to stare, silently, until the father clears his throat
in a disapproving ice-breaker. Next, someone is making a presentation at work
for their superiors when a loud gurgle of gas is heard from the presenter,
causing everyone in the room to either giggly giddily or make stern faces of
condemnation. Then the announcer chimes in, saying: “Aghast by gas? Try Gas-X.
The discomfort of gas will pass in no time.”
Then the slogan is: “The gas will pass, but not out your
ass.”
(Just kidding: that’s not the slogan. Maybe for the Internet?)
