In a panel show like The View, we have five people sitting
around in a semicircle in comfy chairs, talking about issues of regularity and
colon health. The show is called: “Fecal Matters” (<like fecal matter).
The spot opens with the people in the ad acting as though
they’re actually in a television talk show returning from an ad break. So the
main person says: “Welcome back to Fecal
Matters. We’re discussing the best way to remain regular and to maintain a
healthy colon. So (someone’s first name), what were you saying before?” And
then the person being addressed would go on to say that (whatever
laxative/stool softener product) works best for them, being strong enough to
work reliably, but gentle enough to avoid any kind of noticeable side effects
like gas, bloating, colic, diarrhea, etc. The panel all concurs, and the main
person on the panel says: “Well, that’s it for today. Thanks for watching, and
have a great day!”
