Everybody seems to be reworking old classic horror stories
and mixing the characters together into new stories, so I thought I’d give it a
whirl in my silly horror story: The Mad
Doctors’ Mauling Mayhem.
So in this horrifying tale of men meddling in things they
should leave alone, fellow mad scientists Dr. Jekyll and Dr. Frankenstein
become friends, looking into things man must not meddle with and such, until
one day when Dr. Jekyll turns into Mr. Hyde and beats up Dr. Frankenstein.
Well, Frankenstein’s not going to take that lying down, especially since Dr.
Jekyll never came around to apologize. And so Dr. Frankenstein, not good enough
with the serum formulation thing to become a monster himself, decides to build
a badass creature out of parts of big deadly criminals to kick Dr. Jekyll’s Mr.
Hyde’s ass for him. But, upon creating said monstrosity, he finds to his
chagrin that he does not get along well with his monster. And just then, what
do you suppose, but Dr. Jekyll turns up just in time to witness an attack upon
Dr. Frankenstein by his own creature (!). And so Dr. Jekyll rescues Dr.
Frankenstein from the creature, which makes the creature target Dr. Jekyll
instead; but when attacked by the Frankenstein monster, Dr. Jekyll becomes
enraged and turns into Mr. Hyde, and then we’ve got a battle royale on our
hands, and just what Dr. Frankenstein had hoped for! Or we would have, except
that Mr. Hyde, being a violent monstrosity himself, becomes fast friends with
the monster, and they decide to beat up Dr. Frankenstein together. And after
that, they set up a professional wrestling league in Whitechapel, with Jack the
Ripper as their manager. And whenever Mr. Hyde becomes Dr. Jekyll again from
time-to-time, he helps patch the wrestlers up when they get hurt. And they all
live happily ever after. The End.
