In this joke/proposed ad for Levi’s jeans, Levi’s says the
thing that makes America great is the diversity of our people: diversity of
race, gender, sexual orientation, and diversity of thought and ideas. And to
prove it they present us with a bunch of different people from all groups and
walks of life, shown one after another through editing, all passionately talking (or ranting) about the politics
they support, from communism to capitalism, and everything in between, and
expressing different views on political policies, like, say, pro-life,
pro-choice, environmentalism, cheap energy, and each person very quickly sums
up their position on whatever issue or political philosophy, and then on to the
next person, all of which serves to show us what great diversity we have in
this great country of ours. And the only thing holding all of these people
together is that they are all wearing Levi’s Jeans, and they’re all Americans:
apart from these two things, they could not appear more different or expound
more differing views.
