We see a heist scene (of a big investment bank) like from a
slick Hollywood summer blockbuster movie, and then the thieves jump into a
waiting getaway car and speed off. The alarm sounds, and police cars are called
into the chase, but the thieves are in a great muscle car, and they’ve got a
stunt driver, so it looks like they’re going to get away. But just then, the
getaway car gets a flat tire (or a blowout), and the police catch up to them
and catch them all. Then the announcer says: “Flat tires can spoil any getaway.
But with run flat tires, you can keep on driving!” Then we back up the film
slightly, to where the flat tire occurred, and this time it’s no big deal, and
the thieves get away clean. Then, as a tag, we see the thieves take off their
black balaclavas, and they’re all retirees (two or three senior married
couples) who lost their money to the bank they robbed through fraudulent
investment practices, and they’ve just gotten it all back: a happy ending after
all!
