Clarence Thomas
There are more calls for Clarence Thomas to recuse himself from the healthcare debate; and today, on The Daily Beast, Paul Campos (I guess he’s one of The Beastles) calls for Clarence Thomas to be thrown off the bench. I don’t know about that, but I think a more fun way of dealing with him would have been for President Obama to nominate Anita Hill to the Supreme Court. I would have done it just for the entertainment value. You want kids interested in law? This could be bigger than the Charlie Sheen blowup. With Anita Hill on the court, their deliberations could be the most popular show on TV, and by popular demand, they’d have to put it on! Then Ginni Thomas would get involved, and there would be all this back-and-forth like on pro wrestling. It would be awesome! Obama may still have a chance to do it… Anyone care to ask him to?
