Women hanging out dancing together at a nightclub on a
weekend night decide they’re hungry, but they don’t know what to eat. Then some
slimy guy saunters up to them and asks if they’d like a “hot beef injection”,
and instead of being disgusted and slapping the guy, they all turn to each
other and say: “That’s it: we need a hot beef injection!” And so the women all
go off to Arby’s (leaving the slimy guy behind), tell the employee at the
counter to give them a “hot beef injection”, and then we see the women sitting
together and eating Arby’s roast beef sandwiches in ecstasy. Then the slogan
is: “Come to Arby’s for a hot beef injection!” (Or: “Arby’s gives you a hot
beef injection!”) Then, as a tag, we see the slimy guy eating a roast beef
sandwich by himself at Arby’s, and he looks at the camera and says: “I want a hot beef injection too, from Arby’s!”
Then in future ads, we see the same slimy guy, now the
spokesman, and he asks other women if they’d like a “hot beef injection”, and
when they inevitably say “yes” (it’s an ad, you know, so it doesn’t have to be
realistic), he takes them to Arby’s for their delicious hot roast beef sandwiches,
and they all love it!
