Light Beer “The Great Escape” (Joke) Ad

As the theme music from The Great Escape plays on the soundtrack, we see a man in an institution open his door, peer out into the hallway, and then we see another man across the hall open his door and peer down the hallway, and then they look at each other, check to see if the coast is clear, and then they nod to each other, and they both run out of their rooms and down the hall, each carrying his sheets and blankets. At the end of the hallway, they find a window with a radiator underneath it, and they tie their bedding together into a makeshift rope, and then they tie one end onto the radiator, throwing the other end out the window. They climb out the window and down the rope of sheets and blankets and run stealthily across the grounds, looking out for security guards. They run behind a security guard post and turn to run down the wall next to it. Reaching a part of the wall that is not particularly well-lit, they look at each other worriedly and then quietly and carefully climb over the wall to freedom. As they jump to the ground on the outside of the facility, we see a large sign that reads: “Betty Ford Clinic”.

In the next scene, we see the two men walk into a bar and order two light beers. When they get the beers, they hold them up, clink the bottles together in a toast, and they guzzle the whole bottles and order another round. Then the announcer says: “Escape to the refreshing taste of Swiller Light! It’s got a third less calories than regular Swiller beer, so it won’t slow you down. With Swiller Light, there’s no obstacle you can’t overcome!”
