Wow, I love Slayer, but I’m not sure this is the best way to use them in an ad.
I’ve been a Slayer fan for years, and I can tell you, most Slayer fans don’t like the slow parts very much. They understand that they serve their purpose, but they’re not crazy about them. So to make an ad with Slayer using only a slow part seems like a waste to me; but not just to me, to all their fans.
Hey, how about this: Tom and Kerry drive their car out of their garage, and it starts raining blood, and they turn the windshield wipers on, while “Raining Blood” is playing. Then we see the band playing “Raining Blood” with blood raining on them around the Scion.
That’s a way more appropriate Slayer ad for Scion.
