Wow, Advil PM has a really scary ad where they say pain from your day can
haunt you at night! Aaaa! Help, help! Get the Excedrin Exorcists!
But that’s the real problem here: we don’t see anyone
haunted by pain in this ad. The person we see is fast asleep safe and sound.
And they probably didn’t even take any Advil PM anyway! (Can you prove they did? They might even be
faking sleep!)
Oh, but being asleep on Advil PM is what makes you the most
vulnerable to not just hauntings, but possession by pain! Yes, the sleep
ingredient in Advil PM is just what demonic pain needs to possess you more
easily, dropping your natural resistance to such pain! And that’s why you
really need the Exorcists at Excedrin to exorcise the pain when you feel
haunted and possessed by pain! And because Excedrin has caffeine in it, it
won’t allow you to fall into the sleep of the damned, the sleep where people
are more prone to being possessed by pain, with their defenses down! (You have
to stay up all night or else the ghosts and demons will get you: every horror
movie fan knows this!)
Oh, wait, I was talking about an Advil ad, wasn’t I? Well,
sorry, I got carried away. And I was kidding about Advil making you more
susceptible to possession: it’s Anicin that does that! (Just kidding, it’s
Tylenol, but it only does so under its British name of Paracetamol, to confuse
you!) But this ad is misinforming us, because everyone knows you need an exorcist to rid your home of a haunting after seeing Insidious and The Conjuring!
Here’s the haunting healing spot:
