I think we all remember the old beef slogan: “Beef: It’s
what’s for dinner!”
But animal rights activists complained bitterly that you can’t
have two apostrophe ‘s’s in one slogan, and so the beef industry stopped using
it.
Oh, but now there’s a new opportunity to make beef great
again with a new slogan, and might I suggest that this new slogan might be: “What’s
Your Beef?”
We could see a variety of different beef dishes, all of them
looking delicious, and the announcer lists them off and then asks: “What’s Your
Beef?”
Anyway, it’s an idea… And this time there’s only one
apostrophe ‘s’, so no animal rights people will get mad at this slogan, I’m
sure.
