The FBI arrested a Volkswagen executive in connection to the VW emissions scandal. And in the spirit of their new Golf Alltrack ad campaign, here’s a joke ad based upon the arrest:
We see the front of an executive building at Volkswagen, and a bunch of FBI vehicles drive up with their sirens blaring and their lights on. We cut to an interior office upstairs, and the guy they’re after hears the sirens and looks out the window at the FBI agents running into the building, so he runs out of his office, across the hall, and out onto a fire escape in the back. Sliding down the fire escape, he jumps into his new 2017 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack and speeds away out the back entrance. Then we cut to the executive driving through the beautiful countryside, and the announcer says: “Escape in the new Volkswagen Golf Alltrack!”
