We’ve been treated to a smorgasbord of ironies this week, as
American propaganda news stations have criticized the Russian propaganda news
station RT for their bias. I don’t know about you, but this is hilariously
funny to me. It’s like the pot accusing the kettle of acting as a vessel for
heating things up on a stovetop.
Wow, what crazy times we live in: will the absurdities never cease?
For those who don’t know, RT is the Russian state owned news
service that’s tapping into the American market to try to make us hate America
with pure unadulterated anti-American spin, slander and libel. So while our
news is completely biased in favor of and against specific domestic political
parties and propagandize in favor of a specific political philosophy (generally
liberal Democratic Party policy favoritism, except in one notable exception),
using every news story as an excuse to indoctrinate viewers rather than inform
the public, RT is just biased against America in general, and they propagandize
in favor of Vladimir Putin’s policies. So instead of half of America being
righteous and the other half being evil cretins, like our news presents the issues, RT just says America is completely evil, and what’s more, we’re
to blame for everything that ever goes wrong in the world. But our available
news sources are all a bunch of propagandists no matter how you look at it, so
it’s especially funny to see them have the cojones to actually point it out
when another news service does it, as though they’re not all doing it all the time
themselves. Pretty shameless.
