I love classic movies, and seeing Fred and Ginger movies with songs about romance made me think it would be fun to have songs about "bromance" for a beer ad. So here are a couple of ideas for Budweiser, based on two classic songs:
Isn't It Bromantic (Based upon "Isn't It Romantic"):
Isn't it bromantic, watching football games and drinking our Budweiser beer,
Isn't it bromantic, bonding with the guys and sharing all of our good cheer,
It's our duty to show that we wear the pants,
Isn't it bromance?
(We'd see a group of 30-something men hanging out in suburban home man cave, and they'd all be singing this song together while enjoying beers, the game, and each others' company.)
Here's the song "Isn't It Romantic".
A Fine Bromance (Based upon "A Fine Romance"):
A fine bromance, with no beer,
A fine bromance, we have here,
We never get to act like we wear the pants,
We never get the chance,
This is a fine bromance.
A fine bromance, with no football,
A fine bromance, we've got no balls,
To watch the game we won't even get the chance,
We feel like we're in a trance,
This is a fine bromance.
(A beerless group of married 30-something men hang out together trying to enjoy themselves, but their wives won't let them watch football or drink any beer, so they all sing this song together in a melancholy manner while dreaming of being able to drink their Budweiser beer together, and we see cuts to scenes of these same guys drinking Budweiser and having a great time as the guys daydream about the times when they get to hang out, watch football and drink beer together.)
Here's the song "A Fine Romance".
