Downy Abbey (Proposed Ad for Downy Fabric Softener)
In this proposed ad for Downy fabric softener, a woman takes her laundry out and it feels so soft, she rubs an article of clothing on her cheek, and when she does so, the softness is so luxurious, it takes her away in a daydream to an aristocratic English country house (like the one in Downton Abbey), where she sees sumptuous accommodations, museum piece-type accoutrements everywhere, titled snobby aristocrats all trying to woo her, and a staff of servants to cater to her every whim. She's in la la land, and the announcer says: "Downy, the luxurious softness will take you away to a bygone age!" And then we cut back to the woman, and she's daydreaming, and her kids come in the room and snap her out of it, saying: "Mom, Billy's teasing me! Make him stop!" and: "I did not!" And then we see her rub her cheek again with the article of clothing, and she escapes back into her daydream.
