In the most recent Ralph Lauren PBS ad (preceding The Paradise), he shows us more emaciated models in lovely clothes in regal surroundings, and he says he's creating a world, a world beyond fashion: the world of Ralph Lauren. But maybe he should say it's a world beyond food too. Because how else could anyone get that thin if they're allowed to eat?
