The Sorrow and the Kitty: Cat Adoption Ad?
An elementary school girl comes home from school crying because someone has been mean to her, and she's still thinking about what that someone said about her. So her mother tries to comfort her, but it's no good. But then, her mother says: "Someone wants to say hello to you..." And the little girl says: "I don't want to see anyone." And the mother says: "Are you sure, I think you'd like her..." And the little girls says: "Who is it?" And the mother walks out of the room and brings back a kitten. Well, this snaps the daughter out of the doldrums and she's all smiles, saying: "Aw!!! You got her? Thanks, Mom!" And as the girl plays with the cute kitty, the announcer says that nothing cheers you up like a cute, sweet pet who loves you, so adopt a kitty or a puppy today!
