Recently, I saw a debate about some South Carolina sheriff’s recommendation that all women carry a .45 caliber gun around with them in a fannypack. This is terrible advice! People will make fun of their bulging fannypacks, and the women will get all mad and insulted, and then there will be carnage everywhere! What I would recommend is this: high-fashion purse makers should specially design assault rifles with designer purses attached to them, so that the ladies can carry them around on a shoulder strap and be ready to fire in an instant. Can you imagine how long it would take most women to find the gun in their purses? So if you have the gun on the outside, carried with a shoulder strap, and have the purse be part of the gun, it would be perfect! Plus, it would be open carry (which is mostly legal), and potential malefactors would clearly see who’s a “big bad mama”. Seriously, if they design them right, AR-15s and AK-47s will be this season’s must-have fashion accessories! (A company that made these machine gun purses could be called “Second Amendment Accessories”. And with all those guns out there, they might just be accessories to murder as well!)
