Super Bowl Champion Hats and Shirts

Wow! The Giants won again! I can’t believe it! (I’m from NYC, so I root for them.) But what I can’t believe even more is how lame the hats and T-shirts they’re selling look! WTF? They don’t even look like they belong to the team unless you read them!

How about this?: Give us a T-shirt that is dark blue with white stripes on the sleeves and has the number 1 on it (like the player number, only it has the “1” really big, and a small “#” right before it at the top of the number), and where the player’s name usually goes, write: “CHAMPIONS”. And they could also make a white one with red stripes, etc.: your choice. And it could have the year on one shoulder, and the Lombardi Trophy on the other shoulder. Then it would look like a jersey, but it wouldn’t have to cost as much! (But they’d probably charge as much anyway!)

And these hats: they’re not even in the team colors! (The ones they wore at the game trophy ceremony were blue and gray, but the ones in the commercial for them were gray on gray.) What’s up with that? How about this?: Let’s have a blue hat with GIANTS written across the front, and with the “NY” logo on the left side of the hat, and with “Super Bowl XLVI Champions” on the right side (so that it would read: “NY GIANTS Super Bowl XLVI Champions” if you read it around the hat). Then you could have the trophy on the brim of the hat, and the NFL logo on the back. So it would look like a NY Giants hat, but with extra adornments on it for the championship win.

I’d really rather have something like that, especially at those prices!
