Cramping, Bloating, Headache, Irritability (These are a few
of my favorite things… Just kidding!): These symptoms are listed on screen,
piling up on one another, as the announcer lady lists them off one by one. Just
then, some lady kicks them out of our view with a powerful Karate kick! And
then the announcer says Pamprin gets rid of all those symptoms. But I thought
that lady got rid of them herself with that kick. And if that’s the case, then
Pamprin did nothing, and is merely trying to hog all the credit for this tough
lady’s deadly Karate skills! (Some nerve!)
But this kick scenario raises another issue, which is this:
Maybe if this woman wouldn’t kick these symptoms around all the time, they
wouldn’t bother her so much. (I mean, the symptoms were just sitting there, minding their own business, when this lady just starts kicking them. So who’s the real aggressor here?) But since she’s bullying them and beating them up,
now they’re just going to go get their big siblings to give her an even harder
time next time. (She really should have thought of that before she went around
pushing symptoms around and stuff.)
This isn’t exactly the same one I’m writing about, but it’s
practically identical to it:
And this is not the commercial I’m talking about here either,
but this one has the same lady contemptuously throwing other pain relievers
over her shoulder (Doesn’t she realize she might need them to work for a
headache or something later, and remembering how she treated them on TV for all
to see, they will refuse to relive her pain? These pain relievers hold grudges
for a long time, and they do not appreciate being insulted publicly! Oh well:
She did it to herself!):
