Wow, on CNN today, Ashleigh Banfield said, regarding a trial: “I am not a lawyer.”
That’s odd, seeing as how her show is called: Legal View with Ashleigh Banfield.
If she’s not a lawyer, why is her show called: Legal View?
I guess it means she’s looking at legal topics as an outsider. Or maybe it simply means that it is legal for her to view this material, or for us to view her show. I thought it meant she knew about this stuff because she was a lawyer, and that she would be explaining it to all the non-lawyer types.
Oh, well: it serves me right for assuming CNN knows what they’re talking about.
