Donald Trump recently demanded an apology from Hillary
Clinton when it turned out her assertion that videos of Trump’s statements
about Muslims were being used as recruiting tools for ISIS was a lie.
Hillary Clinton’s campaign responded to the demand for an
apology, saying: “Hell No!”
But I think they should have said: “Hillary Clinton has made
a successful career out of lying, and even though almost every lie she tells is
outed as a lie, she never gets in trouble for any of them. So why should she
start apologizing now, seeing as how lying works so well for her? I mean, look
at her poll numbers! Lying is working wonders for her. We say
she can never tell enough lies! She’s going to lie her way right
into the Oval Office! Just watch her.”
But that would be honest, and it is the Hillary Clinton campaign, so they would never do that.
(By the way, Democrats: just because I can’t help but notice
Hillary Clinton’s dishonesty, it doesn’t mean I am a Republican. Why can’t
we have an honest Democrat leading in the polls? You guys are the ones
supporting an infamously dishonest candidate, so don’t look at me: look in the
mirror. Oh, and the sexism and right winger accusations the Hillary Clinton
campaign likes to brand critics with don’t really fit me very well, seeing as
how I want Kirsten Gillibrand to be the president. But they can try them anyway
if it pleases them…)
