I saw this ad for the first time this morning while watching CBS Sunday Morning. In it, two little girls are giving a ridiculously muddy and filthy little yippy dog a bath in their bathroom, completely trashing the bathroom, when their mother walks in and gasps at the mess. Then we get the spiel about Scrubbing Bubbles making it so easy to clean up, and the woman is happy again (after having to clean up, all by herself, all that mess her kids made, and I guess coming to terms with the fact that now she's probably going to be stuck with that dog and all the messes that come with it being now her responsibility to clean up, because we all know the children aren't going to do it, regardless of what manipulative stuff they claim in their attempt to con their mother into letting them keep that messy little puppy). But what this ad fails to show us is what should have been the tag: where the mother exits the now clean bathroom to discover a completely trashed rest of the house, and the announcer says: "We can help you with the bathroom, but for the rest of your house, you're on your own!"
