I always used to joke about how maybe the evil Empire was
really just the benevolent big government, trying to make sure everyone had
healthcare and food stamps and social security, and the rebels were just the
big government hating radicals, attacking the Death Star like the Weather
Underground bombed the Pentagon. Or, at least I always thought it was a joke
until I saw this actual, undoctored picture:
I guess we know who the Empire is now. Which I guess means
the rebels are the gun-toting conservatives? Wait, who are the bad guys again?
I can’t tell anymore.
