In this spot for a Buick SUV, we see some couple in their
kitchen looking out the window enviously at their neighbor’s new car. The wife
mentions the new car, and her husband suggests perhaps Mr. Garcia got a raise,
grabbing a pair of binoculars and looking through them. But then he sees the
logo and says: “Oh, never mind; it’s just a Buick. I guess they’re still poor
like us.”
Okay, he doesn’t say that last sentence, but he was clearly
thinking it. (The binoculars suggests the idea of looking at the logo on the
car, don’t they?)
(Sorry, I can’t seem to find this commercial online yet. It
must be new. But it’s on TV!)
