I like this ad, referencing as it does the story with the Big Bad Wolf, who needs powerful breath to blow houses down. It’s cute, with a grandfather reading the story of the Three Little Pigs to his grandson, and when he says the wolf was: “huffing and puffing”, the little kid says: “Kind of like you sometimes, Grandpa.” (Kids say the darndest things, don’t they?)
The only problem with using the Big Bad Wolf is that he is a character who blows homes down and makes people homeless, and we’re still in an economic environment where people are losing their homes, people are underwater on their mortgages, and the idea of “the wolf at the door” is very real to many unfortunate Americans still. But I think the way this ad is put together minimizes this, mixing the grandfather reading the book to his grandson. (The idea of homes being blown away is still there, however. But you can find a downside to anything if you try, and I think this is pretty fun for its product’s selling point.)
