TCM Underground is showing a movie called: Madhouse tonight, and it stars Vincent Price and Peter Cushing, among others. The story concerns a series of murders in the horror film industry that look rather like Vincent Price is the murderer. And in one scene, the police haul Vincent Price into the station for an interview, and they have one of the murderer’s gloves. (!) But it’s too small for Vincent Price, so they drop the accusation; and when that happened, I said: “If it doesn’t fit, you must acquit!”*
Ah, life imitates art, or at least, silly horror movies.
* Famed lawyer Johnnie Cochran’s (in)famous stratagem (that worked: it didn’t fit, and…).
