I visited New York again this summer, and while I was at the
airport, I noticed a couple of odd books in one of the terminal bookstores.
They were coloring books: one for Game of
Thrones, and the other one for Outlander.
Both of these are extremely violent, sexually explicit cable series, and
neither of them would be appropriate for children. So then why are there
coloring books based on these shows? These coloring books are going to make
little kids want to see these shows, and they might get traumatized if they
succeed in watching them.
Unless, of course, adults are coloring in pictures in
coloring books nowadays?
