Internet “Trolls” Video Game?

Has anyone considered making an online multi-player video game, where people who make horrendously insulting comments at and flame one another online (and those they attack) could fight in a virtual environment? It could be kind of like World of Warcraft (maybe they could have a plug-in for this kind of thing? But maybe it’s really more like the old Mortal Kombat video game.), where “trolls” who attack each other through comments sections (or the people they insult) could actually challenge each other to combat through some brutal fighting video game online, but still maintain their anonymity, so they could get their aggression out, but not actually render themselves vulnerable to a real-life physical assault? And maybe after enough people wanted to “kill” them (virtually) online, they’d get the idea that they were doing a potentially destructive thing by attacking others verbally so much online that people hated them. Plus, if they were busy fighting it out in the video game, they wouldn’t have as much time to be “trolls” online and write such objectionably insulting stuff.

Hey, it’s just an idea; but I’ll bet it would be a huge thing online if a gaming company actually did it, and charged challengers a nominal fee to fight the “troll” through the game. (They could allow them to issue challenges, and only charge them if the challenge is accepted and the fight happens.) But I’ll bet it would help a lot of people get their aggressions out online in any case. And wouldn’t it be cathartic?
