The DNC speech by San Antonio Mayor Julián Castro has many
in the media buzzing about whether this guy could be the next Barack Obama. I
don’t know, but having a president with an identical twin might be kinda odd.
With them looking so much alike, there might be some confusion. And it might be
even more fun than usual!
Seriously, think about it! What if they had a falling out?
Then the twin could pretend to be the president, go to some news agency and
give an embarrassing interview, insult some important voting demographic, say
we’re going to start a war with some foreign country, etc., just to try to make
his brother look bad. And, conversely, if the president made a bad decision
with disastrous consequences, he could always just say that it wasn’t him, and
that his brother must have done it as a practical joke or something. They could
even take turns being president, just to see if anyone could tell the
difference. The hijinks could go on and on! (I think smell a new comedy movie!)
