I don’t know that this is such a good expression: “He cheated death”. Because you know, when you cheat, you’re really only cheating yourself. Isn’t that right? So this whole idea of cheating death being a positive thing, isn’t it encouraging people to cheat? And that’s just naughty. But if conservative pro-lifers had to choose between cheating and life, which would it be? Because in order to protect life, someone's got to cheat death. And that just encourages cheating, doesn't it? And when they do that, they're really only cheating themselves.
