Clearasil Young President Obama “Let Me Be Clear” Ad (Joke/Proposed)
This joke/proposed ad for Clearasil shows a young Barack Obama in 1981 at Occidental College practicing his first speech in his bathroom mirror, saying: “Let me be clear…”, when he notices that he has a couple of pimples. So he picks up a tube of Clearasil and applies it to the pimples. Then we see a wipe cut to the next day, the day of the speech, where the young Barack Obama walks into the bathroom, dressed for the speech, and says “Let me be clear!”; and then he looks in the mirror and finds that the zits are gone, smiles, and goes off to make his speech. Then the announcer says: “Want your face clear of acne? Clearasil lets you be clear!”
