There have been ads announcing football season for years
now, but there was one in particular that I really loved a number of years ago.
I haven’t seen it since, and I can’t seem to find it anywhere, but it was fun.
Here’s what happens in the spot:
A woman is trying on shoes in a shoe store, and as she sits
down waiting to try on the shoes, the sales associate at the shoe store puts
one shoe down in front of her chair, holding it up slightly, and seeing this,
another woman walks up and kicks it like a field goal/extra point. And the shoe
flies up into some little storage area above the wall, and she raises her arms
in celebration, like a referee indicating the kick is good. And the announcer
says: “Looks like it’s football season!” (Or something like that.)
Does anyone else remember this commercial? I don’t know who
made it, but it’s really great.
No wait, here it is (but it looks like Legos):
