The release of Smurfs 2 recently made me think of
something silly: Since the Smurfs are blue, couldn’t this be spun into a public
service announcement about the Heimlich Maneuver? The PSA could introduce a
couple of Smurfs, and then say: “If anyone you know chokes on anything and
starts turning blue like a Smurf, be sure to use the Heimlich Maneuver!”
This may seem pretty
silly, but I’ll bet kids would remember it.
