Some woman says she was going to use her credit card rewards to get a diamond or something, but she had her heart set on another kind of rock, in this beautifully photographed spot for Citibank. Hmm, after being brainwashed and indoctrinated by the cultural propaganda of women being so obsessed with marriage in movies, TV and advertising for so many years, I have a hard time believing that a woman her age would rather go rock climbing than get a diamond (especially in an ad!), but hey: it’s a TV commercial, and the Roadrunner-style Southwest desert scenery is a lot more spectacular-looking on TV than an enlarged diamond in yet another commercial. (Well, there’s certainly more novelty about it, anyway.) But you know, maybe this woman decided that she could get a much bigger diamond if she took her inexperienced climber of a boyfriend out on a death trap rock like the one in this ad, and when he fell to his death, she could claim his life insurance, and then she’d be rich and never have to work again! And all thanks to her Citibank credit card, and that criminally insane mastermind brain of hers!
Here’s the spectacularly scenic spot:
