Raking Rad is the
thrilling story of a teenage boy who wants to buy the Breaking Bad action figures, but his parents refuse to buy them for
him because they disapprove of the toys, claiming they set a bad example; and
so our young hero decides to rake leaves for people in the neighborhood to earn
money for the action figures. But, in taking these jobs raking leaves, he makes
enemies of local gardeners who think he’s a threat to their jobs. So the
gardeners tell the boss of a local landscaping company with a stranglehold on
yard work in the area, and angry with the teen for horning in on their yard
work empire, the group decides to make an example of this kid to scare other
teens away from trying to earn money through yard work. So they send their
gardener goons with pruning shears to cut his little fingers off as punishment
for crossing the landscaping lunatics.
This sounds like a grave situation, but as it happens, this
kid is a huge fan of the show Breaking
Bad, as well as of The Walking Dead
and Bruce Lee Kung Fu movies, and so he has learned how to survive dangerous
situations through the show plots, and he’s also learned how to fight using
gardening tools as martial arts weapons. So when the gardening goons arrive to
rough up our hero, he beats them senseless with the stick end of his rake,
sending them to the hospital, and foiling the intimidation plan.
Well, the landscapers who hold this area in a yard work stranglehold aren’t going to take that lying down, so they send more and more
gardening goons to attack our hero. But our hero has now recruited other high
school martial artists to do yard work in the area, so now it’s on: a rumble
between the teens and the pros! And so they’re all fighting in hand-to-hand
combat with gardening implements, like rakes and hoes and trowels and clippers
and weed whackers, using them all as martial arts weapons! It’s a bloodbath out
there, with red all over the green of the lawns and gardens! And the teens win
the fight, but once they earn enough money to buy the Breaking Bad action figures, they don’t feel like doing yard work
anymore, and the landscaping company gets their work back. The End.
