The Silver Surfer is scouting Earth for Galactus, but he
feels pity on humanity, and considers telling Galactus that Earth is not
suitable to his needs. But then the Silver Surfer flies over to a beach in
California where a bunch of surfers are riding waves, and he tries to talk to
them. But, they do not welcome his presence, saying: “Yo, Mirror Mask, locals
only!” and: “Yeah, no tarnishing our waves, dude!” And so the Silver Surfer
flies off into the sky, and then Galactus consumes the planet.
