Anyway, this whole thing with "the easy button" reminds me of the old joke I used to make about the old Staples ads with "the easy button": They should have an ad (a joke ad) where guys are being shot down by women they're trying to pick up at a bar, and when they continue to fail, another guy approaches them and says: "Having trouble with the ladies? Try 'the easy button'!" So then he pulls out an easy button, they press it, and all of a sudden, they're covered with (easy) women who are hot for them. Then they turn to the camera and say: "Hey: That was easy!" (And the button guys says: "And so are they! So remember to use protection!")

The Easy Button
Well, it looks like Staples is returning to their old campaign with "the easy button", and the tagline that says: "That was easy!" Frankly, I don't know why they stopped using it, but it seemed like they had abandoned it for awhile. Maybe their sales slumped, though, so they returned to the trusty old easy button. (I have to wonder, though, if a sales slump is more economy-based, rather than advertising-based, but I really don't know.)
